Through the specific Department of Tourism, Cultural Economy and Territorial Development, Puglia Region manages the development of the artistic, historical and architectural heritage of the region; it oversees territorial cooperation and tourist development; it promotes culture and entertainment in the area as well as the attractiveness of the territory. The Department also manages and implements appropriate territorial marketing policies and the development of the Apulian tourism sector, in order to increase its attractiveness and competitiveness in the international context.
